Safety

Riding alone? CurveGuard notifies your emergency contacts if you don’t arrive or the app notices a possible crash.

Crash detection

Five patterns: impact while riding, lowsider, highsider, impact at a standstill, leaving the road — plus a bike that has fallen over after the ride. If one of them fits → loud countdown, 30 to 45 seconds, also on the lock screen. Cancel with the palm of your hand.

Emergency call

When the countdown runs out, position, road and time go by SMS to your emergency contacts (one free, up to five with Premium) — through a service from Germany. Plus the SOS button you can hit with gloves on.

Arrival watch

You set an arrival time. If you don’t check in, the app asks — and only then does your last position go to your contacts, even if the phone is off.

What your people see

The message leads to a page with the road, the location in words, a map, “call”, “navigate there” and 112 — no app, no account, no cookies. It stays reachable for 24 hours.

What this is not

CurveGuard detects motion patterns, not accidents. A crash can go undetected, and a detection can trigger without a crash. The app does not replace an emergency call and does not guarantee delivery — that depends on mobile network, battery and third parties. When it counts, call 112.
